Stepping Ahead with Discipline: Orientation Day – Grade 1 to Grade 5 (7th April 2026)

Our Orientation Day for Grades 1 to 5 was conducted with great enthusiasm and warmth, centered around the theme of “Discipline.”

The session began on a peaceful note with a prayer, setting a calm and positive atmosphere for the day. This was followed by an engaging story-based video that helped students understand the importance of discipline in their daily lives through simple and relatable situations.

To further guide our young learners, a well-structured PowerPoint presentation was shared, clearly explaining the rules to be followed in school. The presentation was thoughtfully prepared, making it easy for children to understand the expectations in a simple and friendly manner.

The excitement continued with lively action songs, where children participated with great energy and joy. These fun moments reinforced the value of discipline while keeping the learning experience enjoyable.

The session concluded with a creative activity, allowing students to express what they had learned. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, creativity, and understanding reflected in their work.

Overall, the Orientation Day was a meaningful and joyful experience that beautifully introduced students to the importance of discipline, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.

Celebrating Sr. Agatha’s Birthday & Bidding Farewell to Sr. Shital and Ms. Pushpa – 30th April, 2025

On *30th April, the school community came together to mark a day filled with both joy and heartfelt farewells. A special gathering was organized to **celebrate the birthday of Sr. Agatha* and to *bid farewell to Sr. Shital and Ms. Pushpa*, two valued members of our staff who have served with dedication and grace.

The celebration began with a short prayer service, invoking God’s blessings upon Sr. Agatha for her good health, happiness, and continued strength in her spiritual journey. A birthday song, heartfelt wishes, and a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony made the moment joyful and memorable.

Following the birthday celebration, the mood turned reflective as we expressed our gratitude and appreciation for *Sr. Shital and Ms. Pushpa*, who are moving on to new chapters in their lives. Both have made significant contributions to the school, and their presence will be deeply missed. Tributes were shared by colleagues and students, highlighting their kindness, commitment, and positive impact on the school community.

Tokens of love and appreciation were presented, accompanied by emotional speeches and warm memories that brought smiles and a few tears.

The program concluded with a fellowship gathering, where all came together to celebrate the gift of companionship, service, and community.

We extend our heartfelt prayers and best wishes to Sr. Agatha, Sr. Shital, and Ms. Pushpa, trusting that God’s grace will continue to guide them in all their future endeavors.

Prayer Service in Honor of Sr. Sheron’s Silver Jubilee of Religious Life – 29th April, 2025

On the 29th of April, our school community gathered in a spirit of gratitude and reverence to celebrate a remarkable milestone—25 years of devoted religious life of Sr. Sheron. The special Prayer Service was a heartfelt tribute to her unwavering commitment, spiritual dedication, and the countless lives she has touched through her vocation.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome and reflection on Sr. Sheron’s journey, highlighting her selfless service, deep faith, and inspiring presence within the school and wider community. Students, staff, and fellow sisters came together in prayer, thanksgiving, and song, expressing their appreciation and admiration for her 25 years of faithful service.

A symbolic candle-lighting ceremony and scripture readings added solemnity to the occasion, while students offered prayers of intercession, asking for God’s continued blessings on Sr. Sheron’s mission and ministry. A special thanksgiving message and a token of love were also presented on behalf of the school community.

Sr. Sheron’s radiant smile and humble words of gratitude touched everyone’s hearts, making it a truly memorable and grace-filled celebration.

We thank God for the gift of Sr. Sheron and pray that He may continue to guide and bless her in all the years ahead.

FAREWELL TO MS. BLASHINA – 15th March, 2025

The farewell for Ms. Blashina took place on March 15, 2025, marking the culmination of her seven impactful years at CJM International School in Kharghar. As a dedicated educator and coordinator for two years, she managed her responsibilities with extraordinary grace and efficiency.

The program commenced with a heartfelt prayer service led by Ms. Sandra, followed by a beautiful video presentation that captured the wonderful memories shared by the staff with Ms. Blashina. Teachers reflected on their experiences with her as both a colleague and a friend, highlighting the connections formed. A captivating dance performance by Ms. Jyoti, Ms. Donita, and Sr. Shital added to the festive spirit.

Ms. Blashina was warmly felicitated with tokens of love and appreciation from the Manager – Sr. Agatha and Principal – Sr. Sheron. The helpers presented her with a bouquet, symbolizing the deep respect they held for her. The wonderful compering of Ms. Priya and Ms. Rani added great joy to the celebration.

In a moving speech, Ms. Blashina poured her heart out to the staff, celebrating the journey they had together.

The event concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony and refreshments, leaving everyone with cherished memories and inspiration for the future.

Celebrating 17 Years of Dedication: Ms. Yolanda D’Mello (3rd March, 2025)

After 17 years of selfless service, the school bid an emotional farewell to Ms. Yolanda D’Mello, a motherly figure known for her humility and helpful nature. She arrived with her husband, Mr. Hyacinth D’Mello, for the heartfelt event, which began with a solemn prayer service. Colleagues shared fond memories of her unwavering dedication, highlighting the positive impact she had on both students and staff.

A special video presentation showcased the beautiful moments she spent in the school, leaving many teary-eyed. This was followed by a joyous cake-cutting ceremony, after which everyone gathered for a warm get-together, sharing food and laughter. Ms. Yolanda’s legacy of kindness and dedication will be cherished for years to come.

11th January, 2025 – OPEN DAY (Nursery to Grade 10)

An Open Day for the Primary Section was set for Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This event aimed to provide parents with the opportunity to review their children’s answer sheets for the II Unit Test and to discuss their progress. Parents were kindly requested to accompany their children for this day. All students were expected to be dressed in their regular school uniforms. Parents were requested to adhere to the scheduled timings.

Rosary (13th September,2024)

On Friday, September 13th, 2024, a rosary took place in the school lobby to honour and express gratitude for Mother Mary’s birthday. Led by Ms. Donita and Ms. Agnes, both SSC and ICSE students and staff actively participated, creating a prayerful and joyous atmosphere. Special intentions were offered for each decade of the rosary, making the day truly meaningful. After the rosary, sweets were shared among the staff and students, adding to the joyful and prayerful celebration of Mother Mary’s birthday.

Visit of Mother General (6th September, 2024)

Our school was privileged to have in our midst our Mother General Sr. Monica Joseph accompanied by her Councillor Sr. Shanty George on 06th September 2024.

They were cordially welcomed in the Indian style by performing Bharatnatyam & Kathak dance moves. Mother General met the staff, helpers and all the students.

She addressed the students of the primary, secondary & SSC section as a special assembly was held in the school hall. She even had a special meet with grade 10 students of both SSC and the ICSE SECTION. She spoke about the importance of St Claudine’s values in today’s times. She even answered the queries raised by the students and staff during the meet sharing her personal experiences too.

She reminded us that we are all a part of Claudine’s great mission ‘To make God known and loved through education’ a reality.

Sr. Monica Joseph was overwhelmed by the performance of the students and the discipline of the school.

As a token of remembrance a key chain was gifted to the staff, reminding them to continue on the call of being teachers as St. Claudine did.

Teachers Day Celebration (5th September, 2024)

September 5th, 2024 was a day of immense delight for the teachers at Convent Of Jesus & Mary, Kharghar as ‘Teachers day’ was celebrated with great vigour on the theme ” Teachers, the architects of dreams”.

The celebrations started off with a warm welcome of the teachers to the hall, followed by a meaningful prayer service and then waved off with a plethora of cultural programmes.

The students made the stage come alive with dances, musical skits, and video presentations marking the significance of the day.

The performance of students on stage exclusively for teachers was indeed memorable that made the day explicable. The students took great effort and ensured that teachers enjoyed every minute.

Followed by the cultural programme, the PTA members & the School Management had organised various other programmes for the teachers followed by a great feast.

Teachers were felicitated with bouquets, handmade cards, gifts, etc. as a token of gratitude. The programme was thus a huge success as it was enjoyed a lot by the teachers and they were acknowledged for their valuable and dedicated service reminding that a Teacher indeed plays a vital role in moulding a student’s life.

The day ended on a note of gratitude by Ms. Neha, Ms. Cynthia and Ms. Durga proposing the vote of thanks.

The day was filled with celebrations to appreciate and honour teachers for their selfless contribution in influencing and moulding a child’s life.

Helpers Day Celebration

October 4th 2023, was a day of great delight and gratitude at Convent Of Jesus & Mary, Kharghar, as Helper’s day was celebrated with great zeal and vigour with the theme – ‘Jinka Mulmantra Hai- Karm hi Pooja Hai’ There were about 13 helpers present for the program. The helpers were welcomed with a rose. It was a day to honour and express heartfelt thankfulness to the helpers in the institution for their selfless contribution. The celebrations started off with a meaningful prayer service & a prayer dance followed by plethora of cultural programmes which included Speech and entertainment dance from the (SSC and ICSE sections) and a video presentation.

The students made the stage come alive with mesmerizing dances etc, thereby portraying the importance of helpers in our lives. Followed by the cultural programme Mr. Gurunath spoke a few words. Thank you cards were distributed among the helpers .Games were held by the PTA and gifts were distributed to the helpers as a token of love and gratitude. The day was indeed meaningful to acknowledge the helpers for their valuable and dedicated service. Such acknowledgements instils in students deep respect towards those special people, who keep tirelessly working ,whose efforts are silent, but its means a lot.
