A Special Assembly for Independence Day was conducted on Monday, 14th August 2017. Our very confident anchors Aashika Bera and Jasmeet Ratti of Grade IV welcomed everyone present for the assembly. To invoke God’s blessings, children prayed for various intensions. This was followed by a hymn, “We Shall Over Come”. The tiny tots from Prep I and II performed a Welcome Dance. Students dressed up as National Leaders spoke inspirational slogans. The significance of our Tricolour flag was described by Master Nathan D’souza from Grade – IV. A skit based on the theme “Brain Drain” was enacted by the students of Grade – III. A dance performance to give tribute to our country was presented by the students from Grade I – IV. A Vote of Thanks was offered as a mark of appreciation to the teachers in charge of the Assembly. The Assemby concluded with the National Anthem.
