Patron: St. Claudine Thevenet

Symbol: Violet

Ideal : Forgiveness and Courage

Value: Humanity and Simplicity

Feast: 3rd February

St. Claudine Thevenet showed us a fine example of forgiveness in her Life. The world today needs Forgiveness. It took Courage for St. Claudine to Forgive her brother’s murderers. To Forgive is to love. It is only when we forgive that we are forgiven. Let us pray for the Courage to be able to do so like Claudine.

St. Claudine was known as the ‘Little Violet’ which symbolizes Humility and Simplicity. It will please her, if you act with humility instead of being boastful or showing off, your good actions and looking for praise and appreciation. Being simple, loving, caring, helpful, and most of all spreading forgiveness and peace.

It takes courage to answer this call and to give your all. It takes courage to risk your name and to be true. But Claudine did it, so why can’t you?
