Aims & Objectives

The Pre-Primary Section of CJM International School has two divisions each of Prep I & Il engaging children between the ages 4 & 6.

Every child is unique for us.

We focus on 6 areas of learning.
1. Personal, social and emotional development
2. Physical and motor development
3. Language and Literacy Development
4. Cognitive Development
5. Art and creative development
6. Technology (Computer play)

Each area of learning is dependent on the others and interconnected. We follow both theme-based methodology and the play-way method.We promote learning through integrated activities that provide diverse experiences. Activities involve both gross and fine motor skills. We encourage children to observe and explore, listen and express,and discover and create. We assist the child to achieve and attain developmental goals in education as well as emotional health, thus ensuring a growth which encompasses confidence, optimism and values to be implemented in life.

THE AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF THE PREPRIMARY CLASS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. A Healthy Life Style:
To promote exercise through drills, games, meditation, and activities to build a sound foundation for well-being. To create and build awareness about health and hygiene.

2. A safe, encouraging, and comfortable environment:
To provide high quality care and education implementing a rich, play- based curriculum with hands-on learning, thus promoting an expressive and responsive learning environment.

3. Fun & enjoyment: 
To provide fun & enjoyment by giving each child quality time and attention based on their own personal interests and views through various activities (group & individual) and experiences.

4. Collaborative Function:
To work in partnership and collaboration with parents to maximize child’s potential to learn and develop. To assist parents in any problems faced by them in helping the children to achieve the best of their abilities.
