Holy Eucharistic Celebration in Honour of Archbishop John Rodrigues (21st August 2026)

Sr Tara Ohol, along with Novice Srishti Tigga and three of our students—Ms Ricarda D’Sa of Grade 9B, Ms Faustina Pullikkotile of Grade 8C, and Sara Langde of Grade 3A—attended the Holy Eucharist celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of His Eminence Archbishop John Rodrigues on Friday, 21st August 2026, at Holy Name Cathedral, Fort.

The Eucharistic celebration was a meaningful occasion of prayer and thanksgiving, as we joined the faithful in seeking God’s abundant blessings upon His Eminence as he celebrated his birthday.

On behalf of the school, a spiritual bouquet was presented to His Eminence, assuring him of our prayers and good wishes. The spiritual bouquet was a humble expression of our gratitude and affection, and our prayerful wishes for his continued strength, wisdom and guidance as he carries out his ministry.

“Lord, instil in us the desire to aspire” Holy Eucharist (7th August 2026)

The First Friday Mass was celebrated on 7th August 2026 with the theme, “Lord, instil in us the desire to aspire.” The celebration invited everyone to open their hearts to God’s grace and to aspire towards a life of peace, justice and love.

The celebrant, Fr. Gerad D’Souza, delivered a heart-touching homily on the profound love of Christ demonstrated on the Cross. He reminded us of the unconditional and sacrificial love of Jesus and encouraged everyone to reflect this love in our daily lives through forgiveness, compassion, kindness and selfless service.

The readings and Gospel encouraged us to strengthen our faith, listen to God’s voice and remain committed to following Christ. The Prayer of the Faithful included intentions for the Pope, Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and Religious, the school management and staff, students, leaders of our country, and those who are sick, discouraged or facing difficulties.

The Mass concluded with a heartfelt Thanksgiving Prayer, asking Jesus to nourish our souls, guide our families and help us remain close to His merciful love. The celebration ended with the hymn “Count Your Blessings,” leaving everyone with a renewed sense of faith, hope and gratitude.

 

Called to Shine, Chosen to Serve ????First Holy Eucharist New Academic year (2026-27)

The new academic year began on a prayerful and uplifting note with a solemn Mass centered on the inspiring theme, “Called to Shine, Chosen to Serve.” The celebration reminded everyone present of their unique purpose—to spread light through knowledge, kindness, and service to others.
The Mass was beautifully organized under the guidance of our dedicated teachers, Miss Agnes P and Miss Caroline, whose efforts ensured a meaningful and well-coordinated celebration.
A special highlight of the ceremony was the soulful choir performance by the talented students of Grades 4 and 5. Trained meticulously by Miss Yolanda and Sir Dominic, the choir filled the atmosphere with devotion and harmony, touching the hearts of all present.
The celebration marked not just the beginning of a new academic session, but also a renewed commitment by students and staff to walk the path of faith, excellence, and service. It set a positive and inspiring tone for the year ahead, encouraging everyone to truly live by the theme—to shine with goodness and to serve with love.

Thanksgiving Mass

The First Friday Mass for the month of October was held on 4th October 2022 at 9.00 a.m. in the school hall. Fr. Julius D’souza – parish priest of the Holy Spirit Church, Kalamboli, celebrated the Holy Eucharist.
The theme for the Mass was ‘Make God your priority and have faith in Him’. It was a thanksgiving mass offered to thank God for the many favours and blessings received for the First Term of the academic year 2022-23.  As it was also the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi,  Fr. Julius prayed for everyone that we may be the good followers of the Lord just like St. Francis of Assisi. The mass ended with a hymn – ’Thank you Lord’.

 

To invoke God’s blessings & adhere to God’s  words Mass was celebrated on Friday, 8th July 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the school hall.
Fr.Baptist from Our Lady of Mercy Church Thane was the main celebrant. The theme of the mass was ‘ To build one world of peace and justice for all.’
Father in his homily said that,’Peace is within us and when we make friendship we obtain peace among ourselves.,
