Building Confidence, Shaping Young Minds (Personality development Session ) – 11th September 2026

As part of its continued efforts to nurture confident,responsible and well-rounded individuals, a Personality Development Session was organised for the Primary and
Secondary sections on 11 September 2026.Held under the visionary leadership and constant encouragement of Principal Sr. Sheron Pereira, with the dedicated support of Coordinators Ms. SandraD’Souza and Ms. Racquel Fernandes, the session was
organised by the Social Committee and conducted by Dr. Priya Alphonso, an inspiring and engaging resource person. Through interactive discussions Primary students explored the importance of making good choices, thinking before
acting and learning from mistakes. Secondary students focused on effective communication, confident speaking and active listening. The engaging session encouraged students to reflect, participate actively and express
themselves with greater confidence.

SELF DISCOVERY PROGRAMME – GRADE 8 & GRADE 9.

A self discovery programme was conducted for students of grades 8 & 9 from 6th to 7th January, 2023 at  khandala Retreat house . The programme was conducted by the speakers from the Excel Consultancy.

Various sessions were conducted for students  on topics such as Punctuality, responsibility, trust worthiness, self control, believing in onself etc.
The sessions were informative and fun filled learning experience for the students.
The day remains to be a memorable one with good memories of learning, games, bonfire and  togetherness.

On October 6th, 2022 there was a session conducted by the Excel Team, Sir Christanand for Grade 8 students. This session was conducted to give a brief overview and insight of subjects in grade 9. Each subject was explained clearly and in great detail. There were queries that arose, which were cleared easily. The session made us realise how much time and effort would have to be put for each subject. The session gave a clear idea of the prospective of each subject in future. The session was conducted for the parents as well on the 8th of October. This session helped discover new interests and helped us make sure which subject we should choose for our ambition.

Student’s Training – CAREER AWARENESS TALK (GRADE 9)

Career Awareness talk was conducted for grade 9 students on Tuesday 26th July 2022. The resource person for the same was Mr.Christanad Vaz.

Students were oriented towards developing a complete understanding of possible career fields and opportunities. Various streams, factors influencing   job’s outlook,  personal strengths and preferences were discussed. Educational preferences necessary for the streams were also discussed .
Career awareness helped students for understanding the various possibilities for long-term employment and the knowledge necessary to begin work.
Students expressed their personal feedback after the talk expressing their personal feedback from the talk organized.
