Parents’ Day Eucharistic Celebration (11th July 2026)
Theme: “In God’s Love, Families Grow”
The Parents’ Day Eucharistic Celebration at Convent of Jesus and Mary International School, Kharghar was a beautiful occasion of thanksgiving, prayer, and togetherness, centred on the theme “In God’s Love, Families Grow.” The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Anand from Seawoods Parish, who led the faithful in reflecting on the importance of family life rooted in God’s love.The celebration commenced with a solemn entrance procession led by Aarvi and Basileus (Grade II A), Richelle (Grade I A), and Daniel (Grade II B), creating a prayerful atmosphere. The gathering was warmly welcomed with an introduction by Ms. Agnes Sagayanathan. The Penitential Rite was reverently led by Joris (Grade V B), Hannah Mary (Grade V B), and Miguel (Grade IV B). The First Reading was proclaimed by Ms. Racquel Fernandes, while the Second Reading was read by Ms. Sina Clementson.
In his inspiring homily, Fr. Anand reminded parents that the greatest gift they can offer their children is their time, love, and guidance. He encouraged parents to nurture strong family bonds, explaining that children often grow up to reflect the values and behaviour they experience at home. Addressing the children, he urged them to listen to and respect their parents, avoid seeking only worldly possessions, and instead pray for their families and cherish the blessings God has given them.
The Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Prathana (Grade VI B), Joycelyn (Grade VII A), Ms. Lorina, Ms. Febina, and Ms. Genevieve, lifting up intentions for families, parents, children, and the school community.
During the Offertory Procession, symbolic gifts were presented:
Flowers – Reflection by Ms. Antoneta, offered by Ancia (Grade III A)
Candle – Reflection by Ms. Seenipency, offered by Rayden (Grade I B)
Bible – Reflection by Ms. Agnes Pinaro, offered by Princess (Grade II B)
Bread and Wine – Presented by the parents
Parents’ Day Card – Reflection by Ms. Caroline, offered by Aric (Grade IV A)
The Thanksgiving Prayer was delivered by Ms. Sandra, expressing gratitude to God for the gift of parents and families. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Anita, who expressed appreciation to Fr. Anand, the management, staff, parents, students, and everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration.
The Eucharistic Celebration ended on a joyful note with a touching video presentation featuring family photographs of the students, beautifully compiled by Ms. Agnes Sagayanathan. The presentation served as a heartfelt reminder that families are a precious gift from God and that, indeed, in His love, families grow stronger together.




Parents’ Day Celebration – 26th July, 2025
On 26th July, Convent of Jesus and Mary International School celebrated Parents’ Day with heartfelt enthusiasm and reverence. The event began with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration led by Fr. John Berkman, setting a spiritual tone for the day. The theme, “A Journey of Love and Sacrifice,” beautifully captured the essence of parental devotion. Following the mass, parents and guests were treated to light refreshments before the main programme commenced.
The cultural programme was both moving and meaningful. A video presentation on the lives of St. Anne and St. Joachim – the parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary – reminded everyone of the roots of parental love in faith. This was followed by a graceful dance performance expressing gratitude towards parents, and soulful songs highlighting their role in shaping a child’s life. A short skit portrayed the invaluable contributions of parents in a child’s upbringing, and a touching poem recited by student Dion added a personal and emotional touch. The event concluded with a warm vote of thanks, leaving all present with a deeper appreciation for the love and sacrifice of parents.







Parents day celebration- 27th July, 2024
Let’s take a moment to acknowledge the beautiful celebration of Parents’ Day at CJM International School, Kharghar, on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Parents, our pillars of love and support, were honored for their selfless devotion. The day commenced with a beautiful and meaningful liturgy prepared by Ms. Blashina. The liturgy was based on the theme – “Parents- Epitome of Love,” led by Fr. Leon Mascarenhas. During his heartfelt Homily, Fr. Leon emphasized the profound role parents play in shaping their children’s lives.
Following the Mass, an entertainment program was organized, featuring heartfelt performances, a moving video presentation, and a touching skit that underscored the depth of parental love. Ms. Philomena and Ms. Maria were the teachers in charge of the programme. The event also included a thoughtful gesture, as children presented their parents and grandparents with handmade cards, symbolizing their deep appreciation. It was a truly touching display of gratitude and love for the unwavering support and care provided by our parents. Parents and grandparents were served refreshments towards the end of the programme.
















Saturday, 22nd July 2023 was a day of Great love and awe as PARENTS DAY was celebrated with great grandeur. Parents of the Catholic Students were invited for the same.






Parents day & Grandparents day was celebrated on Saturday 23rd July 2022 in the School Hall . A special mass for Catholic parents & grandparents was celebrated on the occasion of the feast of St. Joachim and Anne –Parents of the
Blessed Virgin Mary in the School Hall.
The liturgy was prepared on the theme ” Thank you – for the greatest gift of all, the gift of unconditional love. Fr. Baptist, the Celebrant of the mass, in his homily highlighted the importance of inculcating right values in children so that they may have deeper faith in God, and thus strengthen their belief in His wonders.
