The Prep Section had conducted an activity of ‘Diya Decoration’ on Tuesday, 14th October, 2025. The students decorated an Earthen lamp with stickers, sequins, glitter paint etc. and enjoyed the activity. This activity was conducted on the eve of Diwali celebration as the theme for the month is ‘Festivals’.
Learning about festivals helps children to understand the significance of culture, community and togetherness. They often involve collaborative activities, such as preparing traditional dishes, decorating homes, and participating in rituals that foster a sense of belonging. Through such engagements, children learn the importance of teamwork, empathy, and respect for others—qualities that are essential in their formative years.
