On Thursday, 13th Aug, our Prep class was full of patriotism and colour on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August! For the Flag Making Craft, children used ice-cream sticks to create their very own Indian flags. With saffron, white, and green colours and the Ashoka Chakra in the middle, every flag was made with love and care.
While crafting, teachers spoke to children about the importance of Independence Day and what our National Flag represents – courage, peace, and prosperity.
The activity was a beautiful way to combine creativity with national pride. Watching our little ones proudly wave their handmade flags was the highlight of the day!
