CONNECT THE DOTS & COLOUR THE RANGOLI (29th October 2026 )

The spirit of Diwali lit up our Prep classrooms today! Our little stars of Prep participated in a joyful and colourful activity – “Connect the Dots and Colour the Rangoli”.The activity began with a short interactive session where teachers spoke about Diwali – The Festival of Lights. Children learnt why Diwali is celebrated, how it brings families together, the importance of sharing, cleanliness, and the triumph of good over evil. Each child was then given a worksheet with a dotted rangoli design. With great concentration and excitement, they connected the dots to complete the rangoli pattern and filled it with vibrant colours of their choice. The classroom was filled with creativity, chatter and festive cheer!
Learning Objectives:
To introduce children to the cultural significance of festivals of India
To develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and colour recognitionTo foster creativity, patience and a sense of our rich culture.
The activity not only enhanced their artistic skills but also helped them understand and respect our traditions. The beautifully coloured rangolis were a true reflection of the festive spirit!
