To inculcate respect for our rich cultural diversity, a joyful worksheet activity on ‘Festivals of India’ was conducted for the Prep children on Thursday, 22nd October.
The little ones were introduced to the beautiful concept of ‘Unity in Diversity’ through various festivals celebrated across India. The children enthusiastically coloured vibrant images of Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, Guruparv and other festivals.
The activity was not just about colouring, but a first step towards understanding that India is a land of many festivals, all celebrated with love, joy and togetherness. The classroom came alive with colours, smiles and sweet conversations about their favourite festivals.
It was a delightful and meaningful learning experience that helped our tiny tots appreciate the diverse cultural heritage of our incredible nation.
Learning Outcome: Understanding of Indian culture, fine motor development, and fostering values of harmony and respect for all religions.
