A four days’ Workshop was organised by the Education Team. Mr. Christanand , Ms Madhulika and Ms Deepa took the sessions for the teachers on 23rd, 25th, 27th & 30th April 2019.
Mr Christanand explained the teachers the curriculum according to ICSE norms through a powerpoint presentation. The aim and the salient features were introduced to the teachers. Teachers were divided into 2 groups. Prep I – Grade II were shown a presentation by Ms. Madhulikha wherein the importance of planning was discussed followed by the objectives of Pre school Education. The other group was from Grade III- Grade V taken up by Ms. Deepa where the teachers were made aware how to go about with the Key Concepts and the Annual Curriculum Plan.
Mr. Christanand shared with the teachers on how to prepare a Unit Plan. Ms. Deepa and Ms. Madhulika gave demo for the teachersinorder to improve classroom teachings.
This workshop proved to be an informative and enriching one as it gave the teachers deep insight into the ICSE curriculum and lesson planning.
