School Feast Day Activity
Creative activities were conducted by Convent of Jesus and Mary International school for all the students on 29th January to commemorate the Feast of our Mother Foundress – St. Claudine Thevenet.
Claudine Thevenet was a woman called by God to form the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus & Mary. She inspired everyone to inculcate in themselves the values of forgiveness, faith, love, kindness and service through her own life. Her last words, ‘How good God is!’ were a testimony to the belief with which she lived her life.
Based on the values of St. Claudine Thevenet, meaningful activities were conducted for the students.
Prep: Colour and decorate last words of St. Claudine Thevenet – HOW GOOD GOD IS!
Grade I, II and III: Greeting cards
Grade IV, V, VI and VII: Poster making (values of St. Claudine – faith, forgiveness, love, kindness)

This was followed by a wonderful cultural program. A video showcasing the students talents was artistically presented. The students also put up beautiful dance performances and entertained everyone.
Later on an Online Eucharistic Celebration was held for the staff members of both the ICSE and SSC sections at 12 noon. Fr. Peter Michael from Goa was the main Celebrant. In his homily Fr. Peter highlighted the values that St. Claudine lived by in her life and encouraged one and all present to carry on her legacy in today’s times.
