As the nation geared up for its glorious 75th Independence Day, the day of Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2022 in the School Hall with great zeal and pomp. The theme for the same was ‘Saare Jahan se acha’.
The programme started with a Parade by the Student Council followed by the hoisting of the National flag by the dignitaries.
The Chief guest for the celebration was Mr Londhe.He is a Law officer in the office of the divisional director of Education, the Mumbai Region.Also in charge of Nasik, Kolhapur, Pune Region.
The cultural programme started with the lighting of the Samay followed by a meaningful prayer service.The cultural programmes showcased group songs, skit, dances etc.ensuring that the fervour of patriotism lives on.
Students participated with great enthusiasm making it truly an enriching moment imbibed with a sense of patriotism.The Principal Sr.Sheron addressed the students on the importance of the day.
The day instilled the young minds to echo the voice of patriotism through their deeds & words . Thus, filling young minds with the awareness to respect one’s Motherland and cherish the sacrifices done by freedom.
