In every educational institution, the Annual Day celebration is an eagerly awaited event that provides students with a platform to showcase their talents and celebrate their achievements. This day brings everyone together, including students, teachers, and parents. On April 28th, 2023, the Convent of Jesus and Mary International School held their primary Annual Day celebration with the theme “Family where life begins and Love never ends”.
Mr. Randhir Shah, a Product and Service Delivery Manager at Schlumberger, was the Chief Guest for the function and was welcomed with a bouquet. The program began with a prayer dance after the Sisters of the community and the Chief Guest lit the samai. Students then welcomed everyone with a song.
The program featured a musical skit on how people of all ages are addicted to gadgets instead of spending time with their families. Students performed the skit through dance and song and conveyed a powerful message about the importance of spending time with family to make life beautiful.
The function concluded with parents switching on their mobile touches, waving at their children, and displaying their love and happiness to be a part of this auspicious event. Without the blessings of the almighty, no program would be possible.
