TREE PLANTATION – PRIMARY

Convent of Jesus and Mary International School had organised a ‘Tree Plantation programme to instill a sense of responsibility and care for nature in the young students.

Planting different types of saplings and assigning them to students
from each grade is a great way to introduce diversity in the school’s
green area. It allows the students to learn about various tree species
and their unique characteristics, creating an educational experience
beyond the classroom.
Having the students actively participate in the tree planting process,
alongside their class teachers, is an excellent way to make them feel
involved and responsible for the growth and well-being of the trees.
Additionally, regular watering and maintenance will teach the students
about the importance of nurturing and caring for the environment.
