With an aim to bring numеrous bеnеfits to studеnts’ dеvеlopmеnt, under the initiatives of the English Department of Convent of Jesus and Mary International School, dramatics competition was organised for grades 6 & 7 on 09th October, 2023 & grades 8 & 9 on 11th October 2023.
Various plays of William Shakespeare was brought to stage with immense pride and thereby spreading positivity message through each plays to the audience.
Students with great zeal performed plays such as The Merchant of Venice, The taming of the shrewd, The Commedy of Errors and the Tragedy of Julias Cessar.
The winners and runners up were felicitated by the Principal Sr. Sheron.
The dramatics competition indeed was a platform to learn important life skills such as confidence, empathy, cooperation, and conflict resolution thereby improving language skills, including vocabulary, comprehension, and expression. It also enhanced their memory and retention skills which are crucial for academic success.
