The Annual Day Celebration of Convent of Jesus & Mary International School, Kharghar, consisting of the Pre-Primary and Primary sections, was held on the 26th of April 2024 in the school quadrangle. The event was a resounding success, exhibiting the exceptional talents and accomplishments of our students and fostering a strong sense of community and pride among the attendees. 

The event commenced with the lighting of the Samai, followed by a prayer dance. We were privileged to have Mr. Shantaram Londhe – Law Officer as our Chief Guest, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Ashwini Londhe, the Manager of the school – Sr. Diana Colaco, and the Principal – Sr. Sheron Pereira. Their presence added an air of prestige to the occasion, and their encouraging words inspired the audience. 

The event’s theme was “India – A treasure trove of Art, Music, and Dance.” The cultural performances were the highlight of the event, with students showcasing their skills in dance, music, drama, and various other art forms. The performances were not only entertaining but also reflected the diverse cultural heritage of India. The participants had put in a great deal of practice, and their hard work was evident in the seamless and captivating presentations.

 The Annual Report for the academic year 2023-24 was presented in the form of a creative video presentation. 

The Annual Day Celebration provided an opportunity to recognize and appreciate our students’ academic achievements in 2023-24. Certificates were distributed to all the deserving students who excelled in the field of academics. This recognition not only motivated the recipients but also inspired their peers to strive for excellence.

 In conclusion, the Annual Day Celebration of Convent of Jesus & Mary International School, Kharghar was a remarkable success, bringing together the Management, teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and parents to celebrate the academic year’s achievements. The event not only showcased the students’ talents but also strengthened the sense of unity and pride in our country, bringing out the theme: India – A treasure trove of Art, Music & Dance.
