Convent of Jesus and Mary International School organized a virtual Children’s Day Celebration on 10th November, 2020. The theme of the program was, ‘You are our hope for a bright future’.
The children arrived for the virtual program dressed in their colourful best. They were very excited to see what their teachers had in store for them. The program began with a meaningful prayer service for the students led by our Principal Sr. Sheron and the administration staff members. God’s blessings were invoked on all the children of the world. This was followed by a wonderful message given by the members of the PTA.
Our helpers were not to be left behind as they performed a lovely dance for the students. All the teachers put up a mesmerizing dance performance to express their love and appreciation for them. Finally a heartfelt message was given by the Principal, Sr. Sheron as she wished the students a ‘Happy Children’s Day’. Master Nathan D’Souza from grade 7 proposed the vote of thanks on behalf of all the students. The students were then entertained to a session of music and games. The celebrations ended with smiles on everyone’s faces.
