As a tribute to our great leader Chacha Nehru and his love for the children, ‘Children’s Day’ was celebrated with gaiety and fervour on November 14 at Convent of Jesus and Mary Kharghar. The theme for the celebration was ‘ You are the rainbow of our lives.’
It was a fun-filled day for the students as the teachers made the day special. The school was buzzing with joy as all the beautifully dressed-up students were the guests of honour.
The Celebrations began with a prayer service conducted by the teachers. The special performances of the staff, office staff , PTA members and helpers added colour to the day. As they all sang, danced and enacted onstage to make the day memorable of their students . The students were treated with sweets and gifts.The excitement and enjoyment of the students made every teacher of the wing glorify.
Indeed the day makes the world realize as the quote goes, ‘’ every child is a different kind of flower and altogether makes this world a beautiful garden.”
