A special Eucharist was organized of all the Mumbai schools of JM at Holy Name Cathedral Fort, to mark the Closing of the Bicentenary of the Foundation of the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus & Mary. This was celebrated on Saturday, 6 October 2018, by His Eminence Bishop John Rodrigues- The Auxiliary Bishop of Bombay with nine other priests, RJM Sisters, Staff, Students of JM Schools all over Mumbai including CJM Kharghar (60 teachers and 38 catholic students of standard VIII – XII) attended the mass.
In his sermon, Bishop spoke about the vision of Mother Foundress – St. Claudine. He also appreciated the JM Sisters for their dedicated service to society especially in the field of education in India and in other parts of the World. Bishop also emphasized on the need for everyone to follow the values that St. Claudine embodied to carry forward the good deeds in the future. Mass was followed by snacks and sumptuous lunch organized by the Management at Fort Convent School. It was indeed a time of fellowship as the staff and students came together as one big CJM family.
