13th August 2024 was vibrant & rich in diversity as it was observed as
*CULTURAL DAY & NO BOOKS DAY* for grades 6-10.
Students were dressed up in their cultural attire . Each class presented a culture of the respective states such as Gujarat, Punjab, Goa, Rajasthan, Maharashtra & Tamil Nadu. The presentation included folk dance, folk song, ppt on cuisines, food, art forms etc.
Students presented the allotted culture in a creative way. The judges Sr. Sheron & Ms. Racquel had a tough time in evaluating each performance.
Followed by the same *CULTURAL ART FORMS* of the rich heritage of India was celebrated as an Inter House *Folk Art* The competition was organized class wise by the cultural club (Ms. Agnes, Ms. Neha, Ms. Ashwini, Ms. Sarita, Ms. Pooja, Ms. yolanda and Ms. Amita)
Each Class depicted the following Art forms house wise.
*Grade 6th*: Warli art( Maharashtra)
*Grade 7th*:Madhubani( Bihar)
*Grade 8th* : Block printing(Manipur)
*Grade 9th &10th*:Lippan Art( Gujarat).
Students brought the required materials for the activity from home and exhibited team work & creativity in the display of their art work.
The day was filled with insight of the various rich heritage of the country India.
