On August 14, Convent of Jesus and Mary International School celebrated Cultural Day with great enthusiasm and colour. Students from Grades 6 to 10 came dressed in their traditional attire, proudly representing their individual cultures and communities. The classrooms and corridors were filled with vibrant colours, showcasing the beauty of India’s rich diversity. The celebration aimed to promote inclusiveness, cultural awareness, and pride in one’s roots.
As part of the event, students spoke confidently about their traditions, festivals, customs, and the significance of their cultural attire. Many students also brought traditional sweets and dishes, which they joyfully shared with their classmates, turning the day into a delightful culinary experience. The spirit of togetherness and respect for each other’s backgrounds was clearly visible, making the day both educational and heartwarming.
