A Special Assembly on ‘Diwali Celebration’ was conducted by the students of Grade 8 on 25th October, 2024. The theme for the same was: ‘Light the lamp of Wisdom, Dispel the darkness of ignorance, ‘ under the guidance of Ms. Durga, Ms. Pushpa & Ms. Deepa.
The assembly began with the lighting of Samay, followed by a small enactment about the importance of lighting the candle of peace, love,knowledge and gratitude during Diwali.
The assembly included prayer service and a meaningful video presentation.
The Coordinator, Ms. Racquel gave the message of spreading happiness among each other and to celebrate a meaningful Diwali . Students enthusiastically participated in the diwali activities such as: Grade 6 – Thali decoration/ Diya decoration Grade 7 – Lantern making Grade 8 – Rangoli making Grade 9 – Best out of waste Diya stand or diya holder Grade 10 – Toran making
