At CJM International School, we believe learning is best when it’s hands-on and fun!
Today, 8th July, 2026, our young learners participated in the Fingerprint Insects activity. Children used different coloured paints to take finger and thumb prints on paper and charts. With a little imagination and a few extra strokes, each print was transformed into beautiful insects like ladybugs, butterflies, spiders, caterpillars, ants, and bees.
This activity was designed to:
– Introduce children to insects found in our environment
– Develop fine motor skills through painting and detailing
– Encourage creativity and self-expression
– Promote sensory learning through colours and textures
The children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own miniature “bug world” and were excited to share their artwork with their classmates and teachers.
It was a delightful blend of art, nature, and learning!
