Girl Child Day was celebrated on 6th September, 2021. 8th September marks the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary-Mother of Jesus. The church has dedicated this Special day to the Girl Child. Every girl is a blessing – She deserves to be treated with DIGNITY , RESPECT and LOVE. The theme for the assembly was, ‘You are Precious and highly Valuable in the eyes of God’.
Special Prayers were offered for the Girl Child in our society. An inspiring video on the need to educate girls was shown. The video helped generate awareness among the children that both boys and girls need to be treated equally and given equal rights.
