An Industrial visit was conducted for grade 9&10 Economics & Commercial Applications students on 25th October, 2024 to Dreamland Dyes Pvt Ltd,Phase 2 ,MIDC ,Dombivili East ;a manufacturing unit for polymers. 32 students along with Ms. Neha & Sir Yuvraj paid visit to the industrial unit. Students had a practical knowledge of how a small scale unit is managed & operates meeting its goal.
The visit made possible for the students to know
1.Necessary infrastructure / raw materials which are needed to start an industry.
- The setup which needs to be arranged and assembled for the maufacturing process.
- The regulation and guidelines of the government to be followed.
- Need of proper planning like setup of ETP [ Effluents treatment plant], Safety exists for workers in case of emergencies,etc.
Thus the visit was indeed fruitful & insightful for students to gain new knowledge. A thank you card was presented to the owner of the unit, Itee Ghosalkar expressing gratitude for all the arrangements & explanations done.
