In today’s world, there is chaos and disharmony in every walk of life. In such times nurturing peace is imperative. Especially students need to understand the importance of peace in order to lead a fulfilling life. International Day of Peace was celebrated by Convent of Jesus and Mary International school on 20th September to sensitize the children to the significance of Peace in our world.
A meaningful powerpoint presentation was shown and a wonderful prayer service was conducted. Relevant stories on peace were shown to help students assimilate the true meaning of peace in the midst of chaos. We long for peace, in our hearts and in our homes, though it often seems impossible to find. But, there is hope!
