Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a healthy body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxed. To celebrate International Yoga Day, Convent of Jesus and Mary International School organized virtual Yoga sessions for all the students throughout the week from 21st to 25th June.
The students were enlightened about the need and benefits of practising yoga in today’s stressful times. The teachers guided them through videos and presentations to perform various asanas and pranayamas which could be easily practised even in a small enclosed space.
