July 8th 2023 was a solemn day at Convent of Jesus and Mary, International School Kharghar as new leaders of the School were affirmed with their respective responsibilities on the day.
The Investiture Ceremony was marked with great vigour with the appointment of the Junior and Senior council members from the Primary & Secondary Section.
The theme for the same was ‘Leadership is the capacity to transform vision into reality’ . The solemn day began with a special prayer service invoking God’s presence.
The day was indeed meaningful as the outgoing council members of 2022-23 handed over their office to the Principal Sr. Sheron and the new school leaders for the Academic year 2023-24 were appointed with great pride by the Principal Sr. Sheron and Superior of the community Sr.Rosemarie.
Respective House Captains and the Prefects were assigned different portfolios as Sports Captain, Cultural leaders, Catholic leaders, Discipline In- charges & Eco club incharges. The Office bearers were given their badges & Sachets too. The Assistant leaders were also appointed with their Offices to execute their responsibilities dutifully.
The vigour of the day was added when the ceremony was solemnized by the staff, supporting staff and the parents of the outgoing and the newly appointed leaders.
This day thus provided a platform for grooming leaders who will be responsible, honest, humble & dutiful leaders of tomorrow.
The ceremony ended with the address of the Principal followed by the School Anthem and National Anthem.
