1st May is celebrated as Maharashtra Day to commemorate the establishment of the Statehood of Maharashtra in 1960. On this day a special assembly was conducted by Convent of Jesus and Mary International School.
The staff and students of both the sections gathered together to offer prayers for the well being of our state. Wonderful speeches were given by the students. The national flag was hoisted by the Principal Sr. Sheron Pereira as everyone saluted the flag with great patriotic feeling.
