The Math Quiz, conducted by the Mathematics Department, was an exciting event held on 8th February, that brought together students from grades 6 to 8. The students participated in house-wise teams, competing against each other in a series of four challenging rounds. The quiz aimed to test their knowledge of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills while fostering a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition. The event was attended by an enthusiastic audience, including teachers and fellow students, who cheered on the participants and added to the lively atmosphere.
The quiz consisted of four engaging rounds, each designed to challenge the students in different ways. In the Rapid Fire round, the teams had to answer quick-fire questions, testing their speed and accuracy. The second round, Picture Round, required participants to identify mathematical concepts hidden within images. The third round, Math puzzle, challenged the students to solve puzzles related to geometric shapes. The final round, Tangram, tested the students’ ability to solve geometric puzzles and create shapes using various pieces.The event was a thrilling experience for all, as the teams demonstrated impressive mathematical skills, making the quiz both informative and fun for the audience.
