Movie Day was organized on Thursday, 28th February 2019, for the students of Grade I-V along with the SSC Section.
Children were taken to INOX Theatre, Glomax Mall in Kharghar. The year 2018-19 was a milestone in the history of the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary and marked its bicentenary year. As a tribute to our Mother Foundress – St. Claudine Thevenet, St. Agnes’High School, Byculla ventured into uncharted territory and produced a full-length feature film – “The Little Violet Blossoms” in association with Small Box Films. This was an initiative taken by the former Principal – Sr. Antonette Monterio. Priyanka Tanwar, the director of the movie is an ex- Agnesian.
The movie strongly brought out the value of forgiveness. Children were touched by the movie.
