A New Year 2021 assembly was conducted by Convent of Jesus and Mary High School on 4th January, as everyone welcomed the New Year with hope for the future.
The theme for the assembly was ‘Gratitude’. The past year was a difficult one but there were lots of things that all of us should be grateful for. With gratitude, people acknowledge the goodness in their lives. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationship
To promote this attitude of gratitude among the students, inspirational videos and stories were shown to them. A meaningful prayer service invoking God’s blessing on all during this New Year was organized. Thus this New Year began on a good note for everyone.
