SUPW Outreach – July, 2025

In the month of July, our school conducted a heartwarming SUPW outreach program aimed at sensitizing students about the lives of the less fortunate and encouraging them to contribute meaningfully to society. The initiative was designed to instill empathy, compassion, and social responsibility among the students. Weeks of preparation and dedication from both students and teachers went into planning this program, including collecting funds and purchasing essential items to donate. The efforts were spearheaded by the SUPW teachers, who coordinated with various institutions to ensure that these visits were impactful and well-organized.

The outreach began on 17th July, with Grade 6 students visiting Rays of Hope under the guidance of Ms. Neha, followed by Grade 7 students’ visit to Girija Orphanage, Kharghar, led by Ms. Sarita. On 18th July, Grade 9 students, accompanied by Sir Yuvraj, visited Florin Bal Ashram. The series continued on 21st July as Grade 10 students visited Ashray Old Age Home, Belapur with Ms. Antoneta, offering companionship and comfort to the elderly. The final visit took place on 22nd July, when Grade 8 students, guided by Ms. Arvinder, spent the day at Jyotish Care Center, Taloja.

Each visit was a unique experience that left a lasting impression on the students. They engaged with the residents, distributed necessities, and more importantly, shared moments of joy and understanding. This outreach program not only provided support to those in need but also fostered a strong sense of community and responsibility among our students. It was a reminder that small acts of kindness can bring about meaningful change, and that empathy is a value that must be nurtured from a young age.

CHRISTMAS OUTREACH (18th December,2024)

As we come together each year to celebrate the miraculous birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are deeply reminded of the vital roles that kindness, compassion, and generosity play in our lives. This Christmas too, we were privileged to organize a heartfelt outreach program on December 18, 2024, where our school community visited the Bal Ashram – Swarg Dwar and the Jyothis Care Centre, Swarg Dwar. These compassionate establishments are lovingly cared for by Fr. John Paul and the Sisters of the Destitute.

Our students opened their hearts and contributed essential items such as dal, tea powder, sugar, biscuits, cooking oil, bathing soap, rice, Dettol antiseptic liquid, body lotion, and toothpaste. It was truly heartwarming to witness their willingness to share, as they reached out to bridge the distance between our comfortable lives and the challenges faced by those in need.

During our visit, both staff and students took the time to genuinely connect with the residents, offering warm wishes for their happiness and well-being during this sacred season. This outreach program served as a powerful reminder that Christmas is not just a celebration, but also a profound expression of love, sharing, and compassion for those who may be struggling. Together, we learned that true joy comes from upliftment and support for one another in times of need.
