A creative virtual Parents’ Day program was conducted by Convent of Jesus and Mary International School on 24th July, 2021. The theme was, ‘A parent’s love is whole no matter how many times divided’. Parent’s Day is celebrated on the 4th Sunday of July each year to honour Parents in every family for their self sacrificing love and care in forming the integrity of the next generation.
The meaningful prayer service encouraged the students to pray for their parents, grandparents and all elders in their lives. Relevant videos emphasizing the importance of parents and grandparents in our lives were shown. Children danced to various songs to express their love and appreciation for their parents. To honour their parents, all the children presented them with lovely handmade cards. It was truly a joyful time for one and all present.
