The Convent of Jesus and Mary International School joyfully celebrated Parents’ Day on 25th July, embracing the theme “In God’s Love, Our Families Grow.” The programme commenced with a warm introduction by the hosts, Gregory and Rowina, followed by a graceful Welcome Dance by the students of Grades 1 and 2. Christina of the SSC section delivered a heartfelt speech expressing gratitude to parents for their unconditional love, guidance, and sacrifices. This was followed by a vibrant dance performance by the students of Grades 3, 4, and 5, while the students of Grades 6, 7, and 8 presented a meaningful skit highlighting the importance of family values and togetherness.
Talisa from the SSC section recited a touching poem dedicated to parents, after which a special video showcasing memorable pictures of the students and their families were presented.
The celebration concluded on an emotional note with a beautiful Thank You Song by the ICSE section, expressing sincere appreciation to all parents. Students then presented handmade cards and flowers to their parents as a token of love and gratitude. The Principal addressed the gathering, appreciating the invaluable partnership between parents and the school in nurturing children with faith, values, and excellence. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by a parent, acknowledging the efforts of the management, staff, and students in making the celebration memorable. The event strengthened the bond between the school and families, leaving everyone with cherished memories and hearts filled with gratitude.
