The Prep Section had an activity of drawing/colouring Dahi Handi on 26th Aug, 2024 on the occasion of the festival ‘Janmashtami’.
The children were shown a story about the festival and explained about the activity of Dahi Handi. The Nursery and Prep 1 coloured a picture of Dahi Handi. The Prep 2 drew the scene and coloured it.
This activity fosters community bonding, emphasizes the significance of celebrations and develops empathy. This experience teaches children to collaborate, respect diversity, solve problems and resolve conflicts.
