Convent of Jesus and Mary International School hosted the much awaited Annual Sports day on 3rd November, 2023 on the sprawling grounds of the school. The morning was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The Annual Sports day was held for Grades I to V. The programme began with the arrival of the chief guest, Mrs. Seema Singh Bera a proud parent of our school head girl Miss Aashika Singh Bera.
The students of the primary section displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from the March Past, track events, Class drill and karate.
The chief guest awarded the medals and certificates to the winners of the various events. The chief guest addressed the gathering. She emphasized the importance of sport’s in a child’s life. She also applauded the school principal Sr. Sheron Pereira for the school’s outstanding achievements. The sports day ended with lowering of the school Flag, followed by the National Anthem.
It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
