The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism at CJM INTERNATIONAL, on 26th January 2025. The event began with a grand flag hoisting ceremony by our Honourable Chief Guest, accompanied by Our Principal Sr. Sheron Pereira, our Manager Sr. Agatha Pereira and the beloved sisters of the community. This auspicious moment was followed by the national anthem sung by the students and teachers. The hoisting ceremony set the tone for a day of unity and celebration.
The students presented a series of cultural performances, showcasing India’s rich heritage and diversity. The students even held a meaningful prayer service for our country India. The students also performed patriotic songs that resonated with national pride and the importance of the Constitution. A short skit was staged which portrayed the significance of the Indian Constitution and the values it upholds.
The Honourable Chief Guest gave an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and what it stands for. The Chief Guest also spoke about the importance of cyber safety for students as an increasing number of students are using the internet.
To mark the 76th Republic Day, a vibrant Republic Day Rally was organized by our school on 26th January, 2025. The rally aimed to spread awareness about the significance of the Constitution, the ideals of the Republic, and the importance of national unity. The rally was attended by students, teachers, and staff members. The students proudly displayed the posters, which they had prepared with a lot of dedication and teamwork, and also shouted slogans in praise of our motherland India.
The Republic Day celebration was a memorable event that reinforced the values of unity, integrity, and patriotism. It was a day to remember the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and to honor the principles that make India a republic. As the event ended, we were filled with a sense of pride in being part of such a diverse and democratic nation.
