On 15th June, Convent of Jesus and Mary International School celebrated World Environment Day with a meaningful Tree Plantation Drive, reaffirming its commitment to fostering environmental responsibility among students. The initiative brought together students and teachers in a shared mission to protect and preserve nature.
As a symbol of their dedication to a greener future, each class planted a sapling within the school premises. The activity was carried out with great enthusiasm and teamwork, transforming the campus into a vibrant space of growth, hope, and sustainability.
The plantation drive served as an enriching learning experience, creating awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. Through this hands-on activity, students gained a deeper understanding of the vital role trees play in maintaining ecological balance, improving air quality, and combating climate change. More importantly, they were encouraged to become proactive stewards of the environment and embrace sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Through such initiatives, the school continues to inspire young minds to care for the Earth and contribute positively towards building an eco-conscious community.
“Nature gives us life. If we protect it, it will protect us.” Let us join hands in nurturing our planet today for a greener, healthier, and brighter tomorrow.
