To inculcate scientific knowledge among the young minds, the Science quiz of the secondary section at Convent of Jesus and Mary International school Kharghar was conducted on 28th June,2024 in the school hall by the Science Department teachers.
The semi finalists of the quiz , students selected from grade 6-10 after the elimination round were well prepared.
The quiz was conducted by the Science teachers themselves. It included Rapid fire round, Rounds on famous scientists and discoveries , Name the use of the equipment displayed, disclose the Abbreviations etc.
The Green house securing 90 points, was declared as winners and as the 2nd Runners up – the Blue House with 60 points & 3rd position was bagged by the Yellow house.
The quiz included special questions for the audience too.
The quiz ended with vote of thanks proposed by Ms.Racquel.
The day was truly fulfilled with learning and igniting interest towards the World of Science.
