The Season of Creation – an ecumenical movement celebrated by the World Council of Churches along with the Catholic Church – begins every year on 1st September, the World Day of Prayer for the Care for Creation, and ends on the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi on 4th October. It is a time to heal and renew our relationship with our common home through prayer and action.
In view of this message given by our Pope Francis, CJM International has taken up the initiative to promote among its students the objective of caring for God’s creation. Special assemblies on ‘Save Water’, ‘Save the Ozone’ and ‘Save Trees’ were conducted to generate awareness among students. The students were encouraged to come up with practical ways in which they could contribute to the protection and care for creation.
A motivational video in regards to ‘Season of Creation’ was posted on CJM International Youtube channel giving the message “Let’s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future.”
