To unveil the sportsmanship of young athletes , Sports Day of the Convent of Jesus and Mary International School, kharghar- secondary section was organized on 26th November 2022 on the school ground.
The Annual Sports Meet began with the welcoming of the Chief Guests, Mrs. Seena Clemenston and Mr. Varghese Clemenston the proud parents of the Head girl Ms. Edwina Clemenston . The day followed with March past, address of the Principal Sr.Sheron. The day presented with colourful and collaborated pyramid display of grade 6b that showcased student’s teamwork and their will power.
They mesmerised the audience with their energetic performances creating a frolicsome atmosphere.
The sports day included various races such as running races, tug of war , relay races etc.
Special races were organized for staff members and helpers. They also participated enthusiastically in the sports events scheduled for them . The prize winners of various races were feliciated by various dignitaries .
The Championship trophy was received by the Blue House.
The best athletes of the Junior Section Master Sparsh Golap & Rashi Gurav were felicitated with medals & trophies.
The best athlete of the Senior section Master Jivitesh Gawand and Ms. Shravani Nigde were too feliciated with grandeur.
The Best Sportsmanship award was feliciated to Master Sparsh Golap & Ms. Nayana Nagane from Junior Section and Master Mohammad Shaikh and Ms. Shravani Nigde from the senior section.
The event ended with a note of thanks by Ms.Durga Singh instilling in growing students the value of teamwork , sportsmanship and co-operation.
