8th September is celebrated as the birthday of Mary the mother of Jesus. This
day is also observed as Girl Child day by the Church in India. To mark this
occasion a special assembly was organised on this day.
World over girls are discriminated against and denied equal opportunities. An
inspiring message to value every human being specially girls was given to the
students through a powerpoint presentation and video. Prayers were also
offered for this intention.
