To unveil the sportsmanship of young athletes, Sports Day of the Convent of Jesus and Mary International School, kharghar- secondary section was organized on 30th November 2024 on the school ground.
The Annual Sports Meet began with the welcoming of the Chief Guests, Mr. Rajan Nair (MA,MBA(HR),BEd, DSM) an x Principal, a social Activist ,the MD & CEO of Oplangel Foundation and the Chief Editor of Bahujan Lok Varta News.
The day followed with March past, lighting of the torch lamp and included various races such as running races, tug of war , relay races etc.
The prize winners of various races were felicitated by various dignitaries .
The Championship trophy was received by the GreenHouse students.
The best athletes of the Junior Section Master Emmanuel & Mariyam Siddique were felicitated with medals & trophies.
The best athlete of the Senior section Ms. Alifiya khan and Master Viranch Pandya were too felicitated with grandeur.
The Best Sportsmanship award was felicitated to Master Aaron Payapulli & Ms.Siya Sahu from Junior Section and Master Ishant Sinha and Ms. Avani Ranhjane from the senior section.
The event ended with a note of thanks by Ms.Zita instilling in the students the value of teamwork , sportsmanship and co-operation.
