*Talent wins games , but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.*
The Sports Committee had organised a sports event on August 10th , 2024, for the students of Grade 6 & 7. It was a day filled with fun and games.
The event began with a short prayer.
To test the knowledge of sports trivia and current Paris Olympics, a quiz was conducted by Ms. Antoneta and Ms. Savita along with Ms. Bilkis, Ms. Parminder and Sir Sunil. An enthusiastic response and participation from children was witnessed in the same.
The excitement started with the first game *three legged race*for grade 6 house wise, conducted in pairs, in which a leg from each competitor was tied to their partner. Children had to run zigzag around the cone.
Second game was BOWLEGGED BALLOON RACE, Grade 7 house wise. Children were lined up at the starting line and had to race till the finish line. The only challenge was that each student had to take a balloon and put it between their legs and reach the finish line ,then pass the ball to the next member of their house.
Third game was HEAD SHOULDERS KNEES AND CONE for grade 6 & 7
At the end, the day ended on a note of gratitude for the presence and support of the teachers , and students were congratulated for their exceptional performance and were given chocolates too
