Feast of St. Claudine Thevenet Holy Eucharist – 31st January, 2025

The Feast of St. Claudine Thevenet Mass was celebrated with great reverence and joy at CJM International School, Kharghar on 31st January, 2025. The Mass was led by the main celebrant, Fr. Leon Mascarenhas, who guided the congregation through a spiritually enriching liturgy. Our Principal Sr. Sheron Pereira, our Manager Sr. Agatha Pereira, Sr.Philomena, Sr. Louiza and Sr. Shital were present, along with all the teaching and non-teaching staff,  and students, creating a vibrant and prayerful atmosphere. 

The Eucharistic Mass honoured the legacy of St. Claudine Thevenet, whose life of dedication, compassion, and service continues to inspire all around the world, especially in our school. The meaningful liturgy reflected the values of love, faith, dedication and service that St. Claudine stood for, drawing everyone closer to the teachings of Christ.

The celebration was marked by active participation from the teachers, students, and sisters in the liturgy. The liturgy was prepared by Ms. Sandra and Ms. Zita, under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Leon Mascarenhas. The teachers’ choir led by Sir Dominic, sang heavenly hymns. The prayers, and reflections were led with great enthusiasm, and the voices of the school community resonated with joy and reverence. The Mass served not only as a remembrance of St. Claudine’s work but also as a reminder to each one of us to live out her values in daily life. It was a truly meaningful celebration, filled with gratitude for the life and teachings of St. Claudine Thevenet, leaving everyone spiritually uplifted and inspired to continue her mission of love and service.

 

School Feast / Feast of St. Claudine Thevenet – 1st February, 2024

The feast of our mother foundress St. Claudine Thevenet was celebrated at with the theme ‘For unto us a a Saint is given. ‘

Keeping up the spirit and zeal of Saint Claudine, feastal celebrations continued on February 2nd that commenced with welcoming of the Sisters of the community, followed by lighting of Samai & welcome dance .
The celebration included meaningful prayer service and thereafter depicting the life of Saint Claudine through her short skit highlighting the ideals of our mother foundress followed by felicitation of the sisters for their exemplary service.
The day was quite joyful as it marked togetherness among the staff as they had a wonderful time together which included games, cake cutting ceremony and a Power point presentation which depicted the service rendered by our beloved sisters. The feast day celebration ended with a sumptuous lunch and vote of thanks by Sr. Sheron
