September 5th, 2024 was a day of immense delight for the teachers at Convent Of Jesus & Mary, Kharghar as ‘Teachers day’ was celebrated with great vigour on the theme ” Teachers, the architects of dreams”.
The celebrations started off with a warm welcome of the teachers to the hall, followed by a meaningful prayer service and then waved off with a plethora of cultural programmes.
The students made the stage come alive with dances, musical skits, and video presentations marking the significance of the day.
The performance of students on stage exclusively for teachers was indeed memorable that made the day explicable. The students took great effort and ensured that teachers enjoyed every minute.
Followed by the cultural programme, the PTA members & the School Management had organised various other programmes for the teachers followed by a great feast.
Teachers were felicitated with bouquets, handmade cards, gifts, etc. as a token of gratitude. The programme was thus a huge success as it was enjoyed a lot by the teachers and they were acknowledged for their valuable and dedicated service reminding that a Teacher indeed plays a vital role in moulding a student’s life.
The day ended on a note of gratitude by Ms. Neha, Ms. Cynthia and Ms. Durga proposing the vote of thanks.
The day was filled with celebrations to appreciate and honour teachers for their selfless contribution in influencing and moulding a child’s life.
