A wonderful Eucharistic celebration was organized on 4th September for the teachers of the SSC and ICSE sections, which also happens to be the feast day of Bl. Dina Belanger. The celebrant was Rev. Fr. Mario D’Souza from St. Francis De Sales Church. Fr. Mario’s homily on the power of influence that teachers wield was inspiring. Sr. Rosemary (Superior of the community), Sr. Lavita (Principal of the SSC section), Sr. Sheron (Principal of the ICSE section), Sr. Anthony, Sr. Diana and Sr. Swedel felicitated the teachers with a bouquet and a token of appreciation. A short skit and lovely dances were then put up by the students of the SSC section. It was indeed an enjoyable experience for all the teachers.
The spiritual banquet and entertainment was followed by a sumptuous meal for all. It was truly a day when the teachers were made to feel special and honoured for the services rendered by them.
